PVT. & MRS. AULTON HAWKINS Mrs. Avis Liddell, daughter of R. W. Crist, and Private Aulton Hawkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willies Hawkins of Casa Grande, AZ, were married at 8 o'clock Christmas Eve at the home of the bride's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Al Potter, 311 North Eighth Street, this city. Reverend Alfred J. Ward performed the ceremony. The bride wore a street-length dress of powder blue with white gardenias corsage. Her attendants were her niece, Mrs. Ken Potter, and Miss Marion DuPont. They wore forest green and gold with camellia corsages. Jack Liddell, son of the bride, and Ken Potter, her nephew, were the groom's attendants. A ten o'clock buffet supper was served. Private and Mrs. Hawkins spent their honeymoon at Clinton, Iowa. Mrs. Hawkins has returned to Eau Claire and Private Hawkins to his post at Camp Carson, CO. |
