LT. AND MRS. J. J. DEPIETRO St. Patrick's Church in this city was the scene of the wedding at 8 o'clock Wednesday morning, May 16, of Miss Mary Elizabeth Nowak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank DePietro, whose home is in Philadelphia, PA. Reverend Raymond Rucki performed the ceremony at the nuptial high mass. The attendants were Patricia McSorley and the bride's brother, Francis Nowak, who was on leave from Great Lakes Naval Training Station. Hugh Ronstad and Raymond McSorley, of the U.S. Navy, also home on leave, were servers at the mass. Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast for the immediate families was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Haugen, uncle and aunt of the bride. Lieutenant and Mrs. DePietro left by train for Philadelphia for a short visit with the groom's parents, before going to Carlsbad, NM, where Lieutenant DePietro has just completed his training as a bombardier. |
