| Bluejacket David Wallace Akerson, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs.
David E. Akerson, 453 Lincoln Avenue, Eau Claire, received recognition
as eligible to qualify for the Petty Officer rate of Motor Machinist's
Mate Third Class at recent graduation exercises held for diesel students
at the Naval Training School, located at the Naval Air Technical
Training Center, Navy Pier, Chicago, IL. The Bluejacket, now a Fireman
First Class, was sent to the specialty school on the basis of his
recruit training aptitude tests. |
