Sergeant Bob Aldworth, serving with an engineers battalion at Camp Bowie, Texas, accompanied by his wife, is spending a 15-day furlough the home of his parents, 1208 Cedar Street.

PROMOTIONS Word has been received by Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Aldworth, 1208 Cedar Street, that their son, Private First Class George B. Aldworth, with a medical regiment stationed somewhere in the South Pacific, has been promoted to Corporal. He has a brother, Bob Aldworth, stationed at Camp Cooke, CA, who has been promoted from Staff Sergeant to First Sergeant.
