Private Femont H. Alitz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Alitz,
529 Fountain Street, has arrived in the Philippine Islands, according to
word received by his parents. He has been stationed in Australia and New
Guinea for the past 22 months.
He entered the service on November 1, 1942 and received his basic training at Camp Wolters, TX; Fort George Meade, MD; and in California.
