John Gallagher

I joined the Marine Corps as a private in August of 1942. I attended the University of Michigan under the V-12 Program and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in November of 1944 from Quantico, Virginia.

I then served in Pendleton, California; Guam, Okinawa, and Tientsin, China for one year.

Following the war, I served in the National Guard in Michigan and Wisconsin from 1947-1950 as a First Lieutenant.
