| Marjorie Haug and Robert Market Wed at Our Savior's |
| On April 23, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Miss Marjorie
E. Haug, daughter of Mrs. Clara Haug, and Corporal Robert D. Market,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Market, all of Eau Claire, were married, Reverend
M. T. Jensen performing the single-ring ceremony.
The bride wore a white dress with red accessories and a shoulder corsage of white sweet peas and red roses. Her attendant, Miss Gayle Hughes, wore a dress of gold color with brown accessories and a corsage similar to the bride's. The groom was attended by Petty Officer Third Class George Kumferman of this city. After a reception, following the ceremony, the couple left for a short trip. Corporal Market enlisted in the Army Air Corps on December 7, 1942. He is now stationed at Fresno, California, where he is training in the radio division. The bride, who is living with her mother, is employed by the Wisconsin Telephone Company. A shower was given in honor of the bride-to-be by Gayle Hughes at her home. A miscellaneous shower was also given at the home of Ruby Hoten. |
